Onboarding walkthrough
Six steps to a complete profile
After your first sign-in, Connect Better walks you through each step. On average, people complete their profile in under 2 minutes. You can return to any step later from your profile editor.

Choose your username
This becomes your public URL — connectbetter.pro/your-username. Pick a handle you'll want to keep.
Personal info
Add your name, headline, location, and profile photo. A clear photo and a short headline help visitors know immediately who you are.
Contact methods
Add the ways people can reach you — email, phone, or messaging apps. These appear on your profile so visitors can connect directly.
Social links
Link your social profiles. This step is optional — add only the platforms you actively use.
Custom links
Add your portfolio, booking page, newsletter, or any URL that matters to your work. You can always add more after onboarding.
Choose your theme
Pick the visual style for your public profile page. You can change your theme at any time from the profile editor.
☝️ In a hurry?
During onboarding, you can tap ⚡️ Super-skip all onboarding steps at the bottom of any step. You'll go straight to your dashboard and can finish your profile whenever you're ready. The fastest time on record was 30 seconds to finish onboarding.

Access your events
Live tracking and a dynamic event dashboard, plus links to agendas, exclusive offers, digital goodies, and more.
Tips
Make 'nice to meet you' stick
Write a headline that says who you help
Instead of a job title, try something like “I help founders close their first 10 enterprise deals.” A specific headline is more memorable.
Use a clear, recent photo
Profile pages with a professional headshot tend to get more engagement. A clean background and good lighting go a long way.
Set one primary call to action
Decide what you most want a visitor to do — book a call, read your work, download a resource — and make that the first or most prominent link.
Test in an incognito window before sharing
Open your public URL in a private browser tab to see exactly what a first-time visitor sees, with no session data or cached content.
Keep your contact info current
Your profile updates everywhere the moment you change it. Updating once keeps everyone with your link automatically up to date.
Add your profile link to email signatures and social bios
The more entry points you create, the more your profile works for you passively. Start with one or two high-traffic spots.
